2027 Election
The next bencher election.
Benchers are the elected directors of the Law Society of Ontario. They sit at Convocation — the LSO's governing body — and decide rules, fees, education, and discipline policy that affect every licensee in the province.
Lawyers vote for lawyer benchers. Paralegals vote for paralegal benchers. The next general election is scheduled for 2027. Eligibility, nomination, and voting details are set by the Law Society and will be published as the election approaches.
